Bio
Shane Zeranski was raised on a large ranch in the small town of Weiser, Idaho, where his love for story was birthed. Shanes career as a writer began in Mrs. Clarks 2nd grade writing class, but his first professional sale occurred his senior year of high school with the publication of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds III, and in the following years SNW IV and VI. He studied drama at Azusa Pacific University before transferring to Oxford University in England to finish his education, where he studied Shakespeare, Literature, and Screenwriting. He also completed study in the Act One and Act Two programs for screenwriters in Los Angeles, CA. Between his time studying abroad and in the states, Shanes first film role was on the Steven Spielberg helmed Catch Me If You Can, where he began photo-doubling for Leonardo DiCaprio . He also worked with Jay Roach and Mike Meyers on Austin Powers before moving to England. His recent theatre experiences both at home and abroad include leading roles in: Barefoot in the Park, Hamlet, All My Sons, The Country Club, Richard III, The Thaw, and The Bald Soprano. His original screenplays include: A Boys Way, The Dance, Hunted, and A Love Story In Black and White with Rick Dodd. Shane has also written, directed and scored several commercials, including spots for Holy Writ Greeting Cards. Shane lives in Los Angeles.
